What to do in the first hour after damage
The first hour decides how the claim goes, more than anything you do later.
Photograph everything before you move a single thing, including the wide shot of the room.
Stop the damage spreading — that part you are obliged to do, and it is covered.
Call us before the carrier. We will tell you whether claiming is even worth it.
