Why paint peels after two years
Almost always for one of three reasons, and all three happen before the paint.
Painting over dust. A wall that was not wiped down holds the paint on a layer of dirt.
Skipping primer on patches. Fresh filler drinks the paint and shows through as dull spots.
Painting cold or damp. Below 10 °C most paints never fully cure, they just dry.
